What I wanted to say in this text is that it is dangerous to turn any minority into an underclass. Muslims in India are pampered by the government. They have their own law called Muslim Personal Law, meaning the govt will have limited interference in their matters. Muslim in India have special reservations given in government jobs, educational institutions, special bank loans etc. Even the government pays for their travel to HAJ. This does not happen in any secular country in the world. There have been two Muslim presidents of India. Numerous minsters, governors in the central and state cabinets are Muslims. All the top Bollywood actors in India are Muslims. Muslims have their presence in all walks of the Indian society. Also, what is the basis of terrorism in Pakistan, Afghanistan etc?
